Coastal Cottage · North Wales
Malindi
Before
Dark corridors and small rooms
After
An open and spacious cottage bursting with character
What was once a series of small, disconnected rooms with dark corridors and an underused attic has been reimagined into a light-filled, open and spacious home.
The layout was carefully reworked to make better use of every inch, opening up sightlines, adding skylights, improving the flow, and bringing a natural sense of ease to how the space is used day to day.
Colour was introduced thoughtfully to lift and energise the interiors. Interesting furniture and quirky wall art added character which is often lost in a renovation, while keeping in touch with the coastal setting.
The result is an Air BnB that has a point of difference and guests genuinely love it. It’s brighter, more generous and definitely interesting.
This is a gorgeous AirBnB. From the restful paint colours on the walls, to the beautiful crockery — this place is a pleasure to stay in. The kitchen was fantastic with windows in the side letting in a surprise mountain view. The top bedroom is a real showstopper as well with views and fabulous decor.
